SA was commissioned by Trammell Crow to help activate La Plaza Village as the final phase of this complicated project was completed. SA brought a series of events to the downtown plaza located at the intersection of Chinatown, DTLA, and Echo Park, including the first-ever LA sample sale for Opening Ceremony, a global Fashion Brand; Dopium LA, an arts and culture one-night event; and the Hello Kitty Friends Around the World Tour pop-up museum.
SA also secured stories in Time Out, Uncover LA, Urbanize.LA, and more.
SA worked with Five Point to curate lifestyle programming for Great Parks Neighborhoods, building community for existing and future residents, and helping to further weave the "Life is Different Here" narrative into the fabric of the neighborhoods.
SA developed a rigorous arts-focused program for Cadence Park that debuted in 2019 and rolled into further programming for Novel Park, a new neighborhood that launched in 2019. SA developed an influencer program, curated + produced events, and promoted + marketed the event series.
SA was commissioned by The Ratkovich Company to create a pre-construction program that would get the community excited about the transformation of the much-maligned Macy’s building in DTLA into an open-air agora with new retail, restaurants, and community-facing spaces.
SA created a programming plan that included creating mirrored blocks designed by LOC Architects to manufacture a sense of place, and a physical hint at what was to come with the transformation of THE BLOC. Pop on THE BLOC was a community program that kicked off with an event on-site during CicLAvia. The BLOCs were subsequently taken on tour to other properties owned by The Ratkovich Company to build awareness for the newest project, and the first major retail project in the client’s portfolio.
SA worked with Robb De Forest and Ron Gonen to create the personality, build the brand for the first multifamily live/work creative campus in Frogtown. We worked with a designer to come up with the name, the mark, and branding assets. Our team produced the launch event, built the website, managed social media, and worked in collaboration with leasing agents to promote the launch of the building.
