Founder, Chief Operative

Haily Zaki is a brand cultivator with more than 20 years of experience in communications.

Among her accomplishments, she ran PR for Dwell on Design from 2009 to 2013, helped build Modernism Week into a global architecture and design phenomenon, and started the LA Design Festival. She began her career in international relations, volunteering for the UNDP in Geneva and a non-profit in Southern Chile.  Once upon a time she also moonlighted as a freelance writer for Inhabitat, The Architect's Newspaper, American Express Small Business Forum, and Curbed LA. She also co-founded de LaB (design east of La Brea), an intellectually-spiked design non-profit that supported local creatives in their efforts to enlighten, improve, and engage the city.  She also served as a Board Member for the Mash Up Contemporary Dance Company and on the social media committee for World Design Weeks.

Haily is fluent in French and Spanish and holds a Bachelors in Political Science and French Literature from Tulane University, and a Masters in Urban Planning from UCLA.  She suffers from chronic wanderlust and when she's not hustling for Secret Agent, she can be found catching warm waves in Kauai where she resides with her family.
